EP is being mastered / Video?
The new VLL9 EP is currently being mastered, but the guy doing it probably wouldn’t call it that. In fact, he specifically asked me not to mention his name in fear of damaging his (or her!) mastering reputation.
There is also rumour (started by me) that there ‘ll be an official video-release with the release of our new EP. But first: we celebrate 3 oktober with raw fish en carrots!
Radioshow @ Broedplaats
Villeneuf are scheduled to perform at a radioshow called ‘Broedplaats’ december 6th. Live, you ask? No, we answer. It ‘ll probably air the 8th of december. Of this we are not sure, however.
Try-out show October 1st cancelled
We’re sorry, but we hadn’t even learned how to play the chords yet. But all kidding aside: due to unforeseen absentees the try-out show, part of the smallest tour in the world, on October 1st has been cancelled.

That’s right: VLL9 are going on the smallest tour in the world. We will be playing:
October 1st, 23.45 till 24.00 in The Hague, Loosduinsekade 725.
The gig is part of something called ‘Bandmarathon’, where 90 bands give shows in twenty-four hours. Check the poster:
Title of the new EP
Much contemplation these days: how to name the new VLL9 EP? I’ve kind had my heart set on the following title: ‘Mischievous nightrainbows in an elbow-greased curry-country to start with, or shan’t we? – the tale that would make most saga’s obsolete (river-dancers yeah!)’. But then again…this has been done before. So maybe I’ll just call it: EP.

World: meet Ezra
Hello world, Villeneuf are dads! Well, at least half of them.
On june 15th of this year, my son Ezra was born. I could not be any prouder.
Little man, great wonder.

Why is this website different than it was before? Why keep it the same? In honor of our new (to be released) EP – that really only has three songs on it – we decided that a new look was needed. And so, it was decided.
